100 years of Barillet: an exceptional corporate celebration

Organization of the 100 years of the Barillet company

The Barillet Group is a company specialized in forestry and sawmilling. It has been supplying many construction sites for over 100 years now. This symbolic date was important for the managers who wanted a special event to be organized for all their employees.
This company anniversary took the form of an outdoor meal, prepared by a caterer, followed by a musical evening animated by a band. To allow the teams to enjoy the outdoors, the event took place at the end of June 2022.

An exceptional reception organized in the grounds of the Châteauneuf-sur-Loire Castle

To accommodate the 500 guests expected for the company party, we have arranged several spaces in a cosy and natural atmosphere.
The cocktail party and the presentation of the group's awards to the employees took place outdoors in the park. For this, we have provided several Nomadic Stretch Tents under which we have installed Coachella Boho furniture (Bali sofa, Bali armchair, Bali coffee table), white deck chairs and vintage rugs.
The gala dinner took place in an impressive 864 m² Saillcloth Marquee, equipped with all the necessary furniture for a convivial evening.
In order to keep a warm and subdued atmosphere for the evening, we also installed a set of light garlands on the edges of the tent, but also between the poles.
In addition, we have installed a Reception Tent for the catering service as well as a Pagode Tent for the reception of the guests.
In order for everyone to enjoy this corporate event in comfort, we have also set up a Lodge caravan, two sanitary cabins caravans and a VIP sanitary caravan.

A memorable corporate anniversary

The group saw things in a big way to celebrate their 100 years! Several activities were organized to complete this memorable day.
The employees were able to enjoy several sports activities in the park: petanque, wooden games, volleyball, soccer... It was even possible to take a first flight in a hot air balloon!
The evening under the tent was animated by the intervention of various speakers. For this purpose, a podium was set up under the tent and several screens allowed the teams to follow the presentations.
The podium area also provided space for a band to perform a private concert later in the birthday party.
A festive and warm atmosphere was created thanks to the installation by the company of spotlights and lighted lyres.

A successful organizational challenge

The organization of this event gathering 500 guests proved to be challenging. Indeed, violent gusts of wind came to give some trouble to the assembly teams. In spite of this meteorological contingency, the birthday party went remarkably well. The company was finally able to celebrate its 100th anniversary, after two postponements due to covid.
