Traditionally organized at the Maison de la Radio in Paris, the Vertigo Race took place this time in the Tour First, the tallest French skyscraper located in the heart of La Défense, in the west of the capital. Setting up tents for a sports and solidarity event
For the second consecutive year, Atawa was asked to organise the Vertigo Race. The concept? A vertical solidarity race to support Play International, an NGO that develops educational programmes around the world through the prism of sport.
Traditionally organised at the Maison de la Radio in Paris, the Vertigo Race took place this time in the Tour First, the highest French skyscraper located in the heart of La Défense, west of the capital. The participants had to climb 954 steps to reach the top, which stands at 230 metres. It was an opportunity to work for a good cause but also to enjoy a breathtaking view of the whole city.

A friendly event in Paris
Throughout the sporting event, participants and accompanying persons were able to take advantage of the various activities in the Vertigo village, set up at the foot of the First Tower on the forecourt of La Défense. Once again this year, Playgroud Event - an event agency and long-time client - called on Atawa to manage the infrastructure: weighted tents, flooring, carpeting and a podium to celebrate the champions' victory.
Before and after the climb, everyone was able to meet for a festive after-work party. The programme included a solidarity bar (beers, ciders, sodas, catering), a DJ set, sports and fun activities such as molkky, petanque and shuffleboard, and wellness activities such as massages, yoga and hip-hop.
