Fully modular, the tipi can accommodate a large number of guests. Several structures can be combined to create a covered reception space of up to 1,000 m². The configuration adapts to the number of guests, the characteristics of the site and the desired layout.
The tipi can be installed with or without flooring and left open or closed on several sides. To extend the experience, you can also accommodate your guests in accommodation tipis and create a genuine ephemeral village around your reception.

Structure
A modular structure adapted to every reception
The tipis are made of a waterproof beige canvas mounted on wooden poles. The reception tipi offers several configurations and can be opened on one, several, or all of its sides.
When the structure is open, full canvas or semi-transparent partitions can be added. The tipi can also be heated and fitted with soft or rigid flooring.
Dimensions
What surface area can a reception tipi offer?
The surface area varies depending on the chosen configuration:
- 83 m² when the tipi is closed
- 100 m² when it is half-open
- 132 m² when it is fully open
Several tipis can be combined to create an event space of up to 1,000 m². It is also possible to add a structure dedicated to a custom dance floor.
Canvas covering
A waterproof, fire-retardant canvas
The reception tipi's canvas covering is made of a waterproof, fire-retardant beige fabric. It protects guests while preserving the natural, warm character typical of this event structure.
Safety
Installation carried out by professionals
The reception tipi can withstand winds of up to 90 km/h, provided the technical assembly requirements are met. The structures are installed by certified professionals following precise guidelines to ensure guest safety.
Certification
A structure suited to hosting the public
Reception tipis comply with the standards applicable to establishments open to the public in the CTS category. This certification governs the installation and use of marquees, tents and structures at events open to the public.
Options
Accommodation tipis to house your guests
To extend your reception, ATAWA also offers 12 m² accommodation tipis that can host 2 to 4 people.
Several configurations are available:
- Unfurnished: an open space to organize according to the event's needs
- Luxury version for 2 people: two beds, standalone LED lighting and a furnished lounge area
- Classic version for 3 or 4 people: camp beds, sleeping bags, sheets, pillows and standalone LED lighting

Canvas
The tipi's beige canvas is waterproof and fire-retardant. It protects guests while creating a natural, warm atmosphere, suited to weddings, private receptions and corporate events.
Poles
The tipi's poles are made of spruce wood. They ensure the structure's stability and enhance its natural aesthetic, particularly suited to countryside-style events and outdoor receptions.
Anchoring
The reception tipi must be installed on flat, stable ground. Depending on the ground type, it can be anchored using stakes or weighted down with sandbags. The solution is determined after assessing the site's characteristics.
Flooring
The tipi can be installed with or without flooring. Rigid flooring improves stability and guest comfort, while soft flooring allows the space to be adapted to the intended atmosphere and use.
