A country wedding for two nature lovers
In August 2022, we were involved in the organisation of a wedding in Switzerland, in a residence on the shores of Lake Geneva. This second property, absolutely enchanting and romantic, is a chalet situated on top of a slope lost in the middle of a natural setting. What better way to celebrate the miracle of love?
A ceremony to dance by a lake
This wedding at Lake Geneva allowed us to organise the evening around its shore. Thus, we installed a dance floor directly on the lake, so that the bride and groom and their guests could enjoy the beautiful view. The 200 guests could be seated in a 280 m² tent with a floor. A catering tent was also provided for more comfort and flexibility. We accentuated the romantic aspect with the furniture, tables, buffet and chairs, as well as with garlands hanging in the main tent.
For this wedding on the shores of Lake Geneva, we called on trusted partners, notably for the floral arrangements and photography, managed by the talented Peggy Herbeau. The catering part was managed by the company L'Effervescence.
From the happy pictures we were able to capture, we can say that our two lovers were very happy, thanks to this unique atmosphere.
A happy wedding thanks to the complicity of the neighbours
As our couple's neighbours got married last year and opted for a similar organisation, they offered to host the cocktail party. While the dinner was completely set up on our lovebirds' property, the cocktail party could be held at their lovely neighbours' house.
As for our ability to adapt to this wedding at Lake Geneva, we had to respect the obligation to set up three customised entrances (one on the lake side, the other on the catering side and the last one on the tent side) to meet the requirements of the bride and groom.
